Find Jobs Online

Where do you find jobs online today? If you have been paying attention to our best future careers forecast you would have a pretty good idea where the money is going to be. It is possible to find jobs online today but it is not as simple as going to one of the major job search boards and posting a resume. That rarely gets results, particularly given the vast amount and level of competition at those sites.

To Find Jobs Online You Must Have Three Things

In order to find jobs online today you need three things: a resume in a word document format (if you can’t afford Microsoft Word you can get download instructions for free office software here), the right qualifications, and demonstrable experience in your chosen field.

Lets face it, the job market right now is VERY competitive and as a result employers in most (but not ALL – and that’s the key) cases can be choosy. I mention above that not in all cases can employers be choosy. Any idea what cases those might be? We talk about the best future careers alot on this site – and we’ve determined which careers are best with a purpose in mind.

We selected the careers with:

  • The Highest Job Growth
  • Above Average Wages
  • Most Number of New Positions

Does it make sense to you now where you might find jobs online? Do you think you might be able to find jobs online in one of the best future careers we identified? Do you have the right qualifications for those jobs? Do you have some practical experience in those job fields? Are you willing to intern for a little while to get that key experience?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then odds are you will find jobs online in your chosen field fairly quickly. If not, you either need to accept a series of lower-quality jobs, part-time jobs, or temp jobs to try to find a way to earn a living. In this market, having the right qualifications and a willingness to work in the fields where money is plentiful and jobs are being created gives you some flexibility as to where you will work and how much you can earn.

If you are not willing or able to get involved in a career field which has a growing job market (and believe me, jobs are being created in our identified top future careers), then you are going to be stuck either out of work or under-employed probably for at least another 3-5 years while the economy finds jobs to replace the massive job losses of the last 3 years.
